Having gained the Star Wars license in 1999, LEGO wasted no time designing and releasing sets based on The Phantom Menace which came to theaters the same year, the first episode of the Skywalker saga and the beginning of the prequel trilogy. Featuring sets from the animated Clone Wars series as well, these sets released before Disney purchased Lucasfilm are a lot of fun to look back on.
